The Market NYC. Places like these where local artists sell their stuff rank high on my list of favorite places to shop. There's always a special buzz. A creative feel and vibe.
Beba's Kitchen sells homemade jellies and pastries. And I can personally recommend the cappuccino.
You can just about get anything at The Market. Handmade and unique. Like the paintings and postcards by Pinky Pilots. I brought back a couple of her postcards.
I totally fell in love and just had to get one of the copper rings created by Elke van Dyke. I wear it often and it instantly brings me in a NY state of mind. If you're interested to see more of her work, click here.
