A little bit of strolling and snacking. There are worse ways to spend your Sundays. Hello Smorgasburg in Prospect Park, Brooklyn!
The homefrite fries from Brooklyn are as tasty as they look. Definitely worth the wait. Although next time I suggest we skip the herb-ocado sauce and try the lemon garlic aioli instead. Or go for the truffle fries.
The Chili Poppers also had people queuing.
Vegan or big chunks of meat. Nobody goes home hungry.
You wish you could but you just can't have it all ... it's pretty hard to choose a handcrafted icecream when the options are 'salted browned butter pecan', 'golden turmeric', 'sweet corn saffran' and 'palm sugar with tamarind caramel'.
Ah. Nice. An ATM at the entrance.
We went to the Smorgasburg in Prospect Park after our visit to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. A nice way to spend a sunny Sunday. On Saturdays the Smorgasburg is set up in Williamsburg on 90 Kent Avenue. The view on the Manhattan Skyline is pretty great from here. How about a nice bikeride across the Williamsburg Bridge? Or hop on the East River Ferry to North Williamsburg. More info about Smorgasburg and the exact locations can be found here. Enjoy. And go there with an appetite!
