Top of the Rock

01 Aug 2017 by Esther

The view from the Top of the Rock Observationdeck is absolutely amazing. But is it better than from the Empire State Building or the Freedom Tower? I really couldn't tell you. The Empire State Building has the name, but from the Top of the Rock you get a great view on the Empire State and Central Park. And the Freedom Tower ... well, it is the youngest but it already has so much history.

The Top of the Rock Observationdeck is at the 70th floor of Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan. Rockefeller Center consists of several buildings, such as the headoffices of NBC Television Network and the Radio City Music Hall. The Observationdeck is on top of the GE building. The elevator ride up there is spectacular. Be sure to look upwards into the elevator shaft. Once on top you can walk all around and enjoy the amazing view on Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and New Jersey.
