Still on a runner's high from the MileHighRun class and with lots of stuff to talk about we were on our way to the next stop when suddenly, from the corner of my eye I spotted her. It really was her, way back in that Bowery store: Patricia Field. According to many international celebs and stylists she's an institution who's been in business for over 50 years.
Patricia Field, one of the world's greatest stylists and fashion visionairies became famous when she styled Sex and the City for which she got an Emmy award in 2002. This vibrant 74-year old was sharing her knowledge with a group of young students.
The shop has a nice atmosphere and there's lots to see. We even helped look for one of the cats that hid itself - or fell asleep - in between the clothingracks.
Lots of somewhat extravagant or, well, different, clothing and accessories. With varied prices. Expenisve items were hanging next to affordable second hand things. The downstairs area is a small hair and make up studio, used for photoshoots.
