Eataly NYC downtown. Located on the third floor of 4 WTC. In the Oculus. Molto bene! As they say in Italy.
Why you should go there? Well, Eataly is cool. We think this Italian marketplace is a great concept. The downtown one is not as big as the Eataly in Flatiron, but it has a wine bar, a panini station, the pizza/pasta restaurant Rossopomodoro, the fishrestaurant Il Pesce and a juice bar. To name a few things. Oh and the bread. The fresh baked crispy crust bread. Yummy!
The view from the dining area on the 09/11 memorial site is amazing.
There are also lots of non-food items, like shirts, cooking ware, cookbooks.
We got a good giggle out of the shirt that said "Maybe late....but arriving in style" on the back with this picture on the front.
We were there early. Right after breakfast. The downtown New Yorkers were probably all behind their desks, looking forward to their lunchbreak.
Eataly NYC downtown. Located on the third floor of 4 WTC at 101 Liberty Street, between Church and Greenwich. And while you're there, you might also want to check out the One World Observatory, the Oculus and Brookfield Place. Downtown New York...it has lots to offer! So much to do, so little time.....
